Bridging the gap in hemophilia care
In his opening plenary address to the Hemophilia 2002 World Congress in Seville, WFH President Brian O’Mahony spoke about the vast differences in hemophilia care between developing and developed countries. He proposed a "Global Alliance for Progress” to bridge this gap in care and double the number of people receiving treatment over a 10-year period.
