International Hemophilia Training Centre Fellowships

The aim of the International Hemophilia Training Centre program is to give health care professionals from developing countries training in the diagnosis and management of hemophilia and related bleeding disorders. Since it was established in 1970, the IHTC program has grown into a network of 31 international training centres that are committed to improving the quality of hemophilia care and services worldwide.

The WFH awards fellowships each year to medical and paramedical staff who want to be trained in the management of hemophilia and other bleeding disorders. Fellows travel to one of the 31 designated IHTCs for training in basic clinical and laboratory training.

See the online directory of 31 designated IHTCs.
