The aim of the International Hemophilia Training Centre program is to give healthcare professionals from developing countries training in the diagnosis and management of hemophilia and related bleeding disorders. Since it was established in 1970, the IHTC program has grown into a network of 28 international training centres that are committed to improving the quality of hemophilia care and services worldwide.
The WFH awards fellowships each year to medical and paramedical staff who want to be trained in the management of hemophilia and other bleeding disorders. Fellows travel to one of the 28 designated IHTCs for training in clinical and laboratory training.
See the online directory of 28 designated IHTCs.
