The 4th WFH Global Forum on the Safety and Supply of Treatments for Bleeding Disorders
The Fourth WFH Global Forum took place September 26-27, 2005 in Montreal, Canada. The theme for the 2005 Global Forum was “Increasing the worldwide supply of safe, affordable factor replacement therapy.”
Over 130 participants from 30 countries, representing patients, clinicians, regulators, researchers, health officials and manufacturers heard talks from experts on wide ranging themes relating to the safety and supply of treatment products, extremely rare diseases, inhibitors, technical innovations, tendering processes, and humanitarian aid. As usual at WFH Global Forums, the diverse group of participants engaged in lively and open discussion of issues of great importance to the bleeding disorders community.
