Youth Leadership Program

The WFH is expanding its youth programs to help foster the next generation of leaders in the bleeding disorders community and ensure that they are well prepared to take over a leadership role. The WFH youth leadership program includes fellowships/ scholarships, leadership skills training, and resources for young people. More


WFH Advocacy Initiative 2006-2010

In 2006, the WFH identified a growing need for training our member national hemophilia organizations (national member organizations, or NMOs) in the area of advocacy and lobbying. Consequently, we introduced a program of targeted Advocacy Training workshops from 2006-2010 for all regions of the world. More


Health Economics and Outcome Assessments

This WFH video podcast features a conversation about Health Technology Assessment (HTA) and Comparative Effectiveness Research (CER). Hosting the discussion is Brian O’Mahony, past president of the WFH. He is joined by Dr. Michael Lauer of the National Heart, Blood and Lung Institute (USA), and health economist Adam Hutchings (UK).
