Join the global celebration on April 17!
On World Hemophilia Day 2011, inspire others with your story of living with or treating a bleeding disorder and show your commitment to achieving treatment for all. This year’s theme celebrates supporting positive change for people with bleeding disorders and encouraging others to do the same. By working together and inspiring each other for a brighter future, we can achieve Treatment for All.
For World Hemophilia Day 2011, we will be sharing inspiring stories of people with bleeding disorders, patient leaders, and the healthcare professionals who are commited to improving their own lives and the lives of all those with bleeding disorders, and encouraging everyone in the community to share his or her own story. Through our stories and successes, we have the power to bring about change by highlighting discrepancies in care globally, by showing how others in similar situations have improved care and by recognizing World Hemophilia Day as an opportunity to make the case for better treatment for all people with bleeding disorders.
We invite all patient societies, chapters, hemophilia treatment centres and our partners to get involved in World Hemophilia Day this year. We have several tools to help you including a fact sheet, template press release, poster and ideas for activities.

- Visit the WFH website in April to share your story or tell us what inspires you about the bleeding disorders community.
- Spread the word about bleeding disorders by texting, e-mailing or messaging your friends and contacts and encouraging them to read your story and the stories of others on the WFH website.
