Beware of Fraudulent Websites and Unauthorized Registration Companies

It has come to the attention of the WFH that companies are attempting to defraud individuals interested in attending our Congress. Anything coming from a URL other than wfh.org is suspect. All registrations should be made directly through the Congress Secretariat, or our online registration system.

If you are a citizen of a country with a low-income, lower-middle income or upper-middle income economy (as defined by the World Bank), you may be eligible for a special Passport to the World fee. Conditions apply. The discounted fee can only be applied at the time of registration and will not be issued retroactively. See the list of eligible countries here. For more details, please contact us at registration@wfh.org. This discount does not apply to accompanying persons and industry staff and cannot be combined with any other discount.

Registration deadlines expire at midnight Eastern Standard Time (EST).

The listed registration fees are only valid if both the registration form and full payment are received on or before the specified deadlines. Otherwise, the payment will be treated as a partial payment for the next applicable registration category.

Payment must be made in US$ currency only. The following payment methods are accepted:

  • Credit card: MasterCard and Visa only. The WFH does not accept American Express cards.
  • Electronic funds transfer. Please contact registration@wfh.org to obtain a proforma invoice for payment, specifying the services requested and full contact details. Click here to print the WFH bank account information.

PLEASE NOTE: Bank charges are the responsibility of the sender and should be paid at source in addition to the registration fees. On the transfer documentation, clearly indicate the participant's family name and include the note “WFH 2020 Registration”. Send a copy by email to registration@wfh.org in order to help identify the payment. The WFH 2020 World Congress Secretariat will not be responsible for tracking transfers deposited without appropriate identification.

Any cancellation of registration must be sent in writing to registration@wfh.org and will be subject to te following conditions:

  • Until Friday, May 8, 2020, a refund equivalent to 75% of the paid registration fee will be granted
  • After Friday, May 8, 2020, no refunds will be granted
  • Requests for refunds with regards to incorrect registration payments or incorrect category selection will not be considered
  • Non-attendance will be considered as a cancellation on the day of the event and will incur a 100% cancellation fee

Refunds, if applicable, will be issued no later than one month after the Congress.

Companies and organizations intending to register a group of 15 people or more are required to follow the special group registration procedure. Please contact registration@wfh.org to receive the group registration template or register your group directly via our online registration system.

Note that:

  • The same fees and deadlines apply for groups as for individual participants.
  • The listed registration fees are only valid if both the registration form and full payment are received on or before the specified deadlines. Otherwise, the payment will be treated as a partial payment for the next applicable registration category.
  • The group coordinator must submit full contact details for each registered participant: family name, first name, complete address, e-mail, affiliation, and country of origin of each participant.

Please make sure you provide us with the participants’ correct e-mail address so that we can send them session evaluations and final congress evaluation. These documents will only be emailed during the Congress period.

Please note: Although every effort will be made to inform you in the event of a double registration, the organizing secretariat cannot be held responsible in the event of a double registration (when either an individual or another group registers the same participant).

Confirmation of group registrations
All registration information will be sent to the group contact person only, who will then be responsible for the distribution of information to each group member. No documentation will be sent directly to the group participants.
