Global Training Programs
The WFH serves and supports the needs of its national member organizations (NMOs) and the development of hemophilia treatment centers to achieve sustainable comprehensive care and treatment for people with inherited bleeding disorders, including hemophilia, von Willebrand disease, rare factor deficiencies and inherited platelet disorders. Global training programs and activities focus on:

Increasing knowledge, skills and education of youth, patients and NMO leaders to better advocate for care and serve their community

Improving laboratory performance as well as effectiveness, and expanding capacity to achieve accurate laboratory diagnosis
- Providing NMO capacity-building and leadership skills training/workshops that occur nationally, regionally and globally and allow for experience sharing among youths, patients and NMO leaders from around the world
- Enhancing and transferring medical and paramedical knowledge and expertise to health care professionals and twin treatment centres in order to improve the clinical management of bleeding disorders
