The 2019 Global Forum Secretariat has secured a limited number of hotel rooms at competitive rates. Hotel rates are quoted in US dollars (USD), per room, per night and are inclusive of all taxes (lodging tax 3.5%, GST 5%, PST 9.975%).

Room occupancy may be single or double. Additional breakfast for second guest will incur in extra charges.

Extra person charge (3rd and 4th person) sharing a room is $35 USD per person, per night. Children under 18 years old may share parents’ rooms at no extra charge with existing bedding.

The deadline for reservations is October 10, 2019.  Requests for accommodations received after this date will be at the hotel’s discretion as to whether it can accept additional reservations, which will be subject to prevailing rates and availability.

Reservation Procedure

Hotel accommodations can be booked directly online during the registration process.

Reservations will be dealt with on a first-come, first-served basis and will be based on availability at the time of booking.

You will be charged the cost of your full stay upon receipt of your reservation.

Cancellation policy

Any changes in arrival or departure dates, type of accommodation required, or special needs should be indicated in writing to the Global Forum Secretariat and will be subject to the following conditions:

  • For cancellations received before Thursday, October 10, 2019, a refund will be issued one month after the Global Forum, less an administration fee equal to one night’s accommodation plus taxes.
  • For cancellations received after Thursday, October 10, 2019, no refunds will be granted.
