IHTC Program: Application process

Application process

Interested potential applicants should discuss the application form with their hospital and their national hemophilia member organization (NMO). Since there are limited fellowships available, each country should nominate a maximum of three applicants. When there are multiple applications, the NMO is requested to rank all the applications in the country by order of priority, bearing in mind the merits of the application and the country’s needs.

Applications for IHTC fellowships should include:

  • a completed application form,
  • a current curriculum vitae (C.V.) or resume (maximum 2 pages), and
  • two recommendation letters (one from their NMO and one from their employer).

Announcement of granted fellowships

The International Hemophilia Training Centre (IHTC) Committee will make the final selection of fellows in February of the following year. All applicants will be notified of the decision regarding their application by March.

The application period for the 2019 IHTC Fellowship Program is now closed. Successful applicants will be notified in March 2019.
