WFH Nurses Committee

The vision of the WFH Nurses Committee is to improve the quality of care to patients with hemophilia and other bleeding disorders throughout the world by enhancing nursing practices and making nursing an integral part of a multi-disciplinary health care team.

  • Improve the quality of care to people with bleeding disorders throughout the world
  • Provide education
  • Stimulate an interest in hemophilia care
  • Provide tools to improve nursing services
  • Enhance communication
  • Advocate for nursing to be an integral part of multi-disciplinary teams

How you can help us

  • Tell us if there is a hemophilia nurses group in your country. Please send us names and addresses of a contact person.
  • Send a listing of any hemophilia education material you have developed and are willing to share. Please indicate the languages in which the material is printed.
  • Offer to donate a day or so of your holiday, giving outreach training when visiting developing countries. We cannot give you any financial help, but you will meet some wonderful people.
