DESCRIPTION OF TRAINING PROGRAM

Clinical activities: We follow at least 500 patients with severe bleeding disorders, severe enough to require regular medical attention, are diagnosed at the centre. We regularly follow 120 patients with HIV infection, some of whom come from other regions, because we provide and supervise directly anti-retroviral treatment and treatment of opportunistic infections. The main strength of the centre is the close link between clinical and research activities, and the application of relatively sophisticated laboratory techniques (protein chemistry, molecular biology) to clinical research.
